David Whiteside

By the end of David's formal education he had an Arts Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Marketing and an MBA to his name. Just what Fairfax Media were looking for when they employed him as Brand Manager for The Age. Fairfax recognised his ability and soon promoted him to Marketing Director at CitySearch, however David was already feeling the irresistible pull of the Agency Side. When D'Arcy offered him a role as Account Director, to oversee the agencies main clients ME Bank, Mars, Whiskas, Pulse Energy and Domain Chandon, he jumped at the chance. Within two years he had been promoted to General Manager. Two years after that, following a brief stint at Leo Burnett Melbourne where, as Head of Client Services, he managed the agency's major clients of Holden, Heinz and Black & Decker, he was helping to build Sense from scratch.

Guillaume Roux

Guillaume's sharp business sense was honed while completing studies in Marketing and Management and selling ice creams on the beaches of Southern France during holidays. His career began with Havas Advertising London, and then Parisian boutique agency L'Agence Verte. During this time he worked on a variety of accounts ranging from fashion to social causes, the launch of Laboratoire Garnier's Fructis range and a successful political campaign for the Green Party. Relocating to Australia in 1998 his strong design skills landed him a job as Senior Designer with Lonely Planet, and eventually Melbourne advertising agency Pure Creative where, as Senior Art Director, he created memorable campaigns for such brands as Twix, Go Eureka, Phillips, Mars and ME Bank. At Sense Guillaume has brought to the fore his exceptional talent for both design and advertising.

Peter Milne

In 1987, midway through his final year of Graphic Design studies, Peter accepted a job at J Walter Thomson Melbourne as a junior Art Director. He moved to London in '89 and quickly found work at below-the-line agency Marketing Perspectives (later Red Cell) where the award winning Direct Marketing, Promotion and Sponsorship campaigns he developed for the agency's major clients (Renault, Mars, Uncle Bens, Four X beer, the London Marathon) led to his promotion to Head of Art. Proving his flexibility, Peter re-entered mainstream advertising when he returned to Australia in '97, this time as a copywriter. He joined Pure Creative and became the agency's most awarded creative, with successful campaigns for Tontine, Mars, Twix and Yellow Pages. Peter's diverse talents are perfectly suited to the multidisciplinary environment he has helped create at Sense.
